The Story Began...
On November 24, 1987 at the First International Conference on Acupuncture and Moxibustion in Beijing, something unprecedented happened.
A young doctor was asked to demonstrate a new form of acupuncture that few people had heard of. Two stroke patients he had never met were wheeled in from a hospital. After 15 minutes of seated treatment, the patients stood up and, to everybody's astonishment, walked across the stage.
This young doctor was Dr. Ming Qing Zhu and his technique was known as Zhu's Scalp
Acupuncture.
