Y.M. Chen, Ph.D., L.Ac.
Dr. Chen has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture since 1991, after he finished his training at the Traditional Chinese Medical College, Chinese Taiyuit Acupuncture Research Institute of Hong Kong, and the Amoy University, China.
Dr. Chen specializes in scalp, facial and auricular acupuncture as well as Tuina (Chinese medical manipulation). His expertise is in treating psychosomatic disorders, neuromuscular and muskuloskelatal pain. He received the "Outstanding Medicine Treatment Golden Award" from the Third World and Asia Traditional Medicine Conference.
Dr. Chen is a very active leader and advocate for the acupuncture profession. Currently, he serves as the Vice President of the Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture Research and Education Foundation (ZSAREF), President of the Arizona Society of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (AZSOMA), Program Director of the American Liberty University (Division of Oriental Medicine), and Director of Arizona Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Continued Education Program. He is also a member of several associations, including the Society of Acupuncture Research, and the Society of Integrative Oncology.
Dr. Chen is currently practicing in Phoenix.
